WELCOME TO CROSSFIT BOX HILL
CrossFit Box Hill is a dual facility built solely for teaching and training the CrossFit method and Olympic Lifting. Our core focus is providing a strength and conditioning program that is designed to make you the fittest, strongest, and healthiest version of YOU.
Whether you are an aspiring athlete, or an everyday Grandparent we have certified coaches who live and breathe CrossFit to guide you along the path to true health and fitness.
We offer two programs of CrossFit – Fitness (60min class) and Performance (90min class). Fitness is perfect for achieving body composition and overall health and fitness results, whilst Performance is for those that wish to take their Fitness to the next level in pursuit of athletic/ competitive achievement.
We run regular specific Block Training programs throughout the year. These programs focus specifically on achieving a goal such as improving your strength and technique in the Olympic Lifts; achieving your first Pull Up, Muscle Up or Handstand Push Up; preparing you for a marathon; preparing you for a Spartan race or Tough Mudder.
Each month we hold regular movement/ skill workshops. These classes very in terms of length of session, and when they are held. We try to make these accessible as possible to all of our members. Session content varies on the goals of our clients.
JUNIORS (12 – 15yo)
Memberships available for Juniors with two 4pm Classes specifically for our Junior Members allows us to introduce the next generation of athletes to the World of CrossFit and Functional Fitness. The program combines age-appropriate weightlifting and gymnastics with high intensity training to deliver optimal fitness and performance, as well as establish a lifetime love of fitness. Proper weightlifting techniques are drilled, under the watchful eye of our certified and experienced Coach’s, to enhance strength and power, while also focusing on basic gymnastics to increase agility, mobility and flexibility.
At CrossFit Box Hill we understand, Group Class Training is not for everyone, which is why we happily offer Personal Training of 1-on-1, 1-on-2, 1-on-3 and Private Small Groups of 4 or More.
WHAT IS CROSSFIT?
Boasting some of Melbourne’s MOST QUALIFIED & EXPERIENCED Coaches in CrossFit, Olympic Lifting, Gymnastics, Powerlifting, Kids Fitness, Older Adults Fitness and Nutrition for weight loss. We are people with aspirations and goals just like you. We dread the thought of not being able to do something because of physical limitations. We are business professionals, fighters, students, mums, gymnasts, runners, swimmers, blah, blah, blah. What is more important is what we have in common with you? We chose CrossFit because we sought the same fitness level that you seek now.
It started as an interest in being able to reach our goals as they relate to sport, but have since far outreached those boundaries. Now we seek to improve every aspect of our daily lives through fitness. To be able to perform our jobs better, to be surrounded by people who will celebrate our first pull up, to have a place to go to blow off a little steam, to try things that most adults would consider childish (which we consider cool). You see, CrossFit has added value to our lives and we want you to be a part of that. Everything about CrossFit is challenging – driving to the gym and ignoring those butterflies in your stomach, willing yourself to take your intensity to new levels, finishing a Workout as prescribed, and trying not to spend all day checking to see if tomorrow’s WOD has been posted yet. What makes it so fun is the fact that you are challenging yourself, along with every other person at CrossFit Box Hill. You can share the sweat, pain and fun with each other and somehow it becomes a success story – everyday.
I want to say a huge thank you to Nick Cook for creating a great training program for me to tackle Boston (marathon). I did freak out when I saw it first off as it was so different to what I had been doing, but I trusted it and went with it.
Much like many others, I was wearied by the subpar mundane routines at a less than ordinary gym. At the end of 2014, I decided enough is enough and I ought to do a radical overhaul to my tedious fitness regime.
I have decided that I’ll drive the extra distance to stay at CFB as your equipment and of course more importantly, all your coaches are just the best! Seriously they are streets ahead in their skills and enthusiasm to assist all of us to achieve.
CrossFit Box Hill for me is very special as it has helped me in so many ways. It’s the people in CrossFit Box Hill which make this place so special, not just the coaches, but the fellow athletes that cheer each other on.
