Much like many others, I was wearied by the subpar mundane routines at a less than ordinary gym. At the end of 2014, I decided enough is enough and I ought to do a radical overhaul to my tedious fitness regime.After my first trial session with the owner, Nick, I knew then that I need not be concerned to look for another place. My first experience with other coaches and fellow crossfiters only serve to strengthen my resolve and decision to embark on this exciting journey.Crossfit Box Hill embodies an unparalleled encouraging spirit, thorough and discrete mentorships, and most importantly the-hard-to-come-by camaraderie of collective pursuit of fitness.
I want to point out that whilst it is possible to micmic the workouts on your own, you can NEVER truly replicate the whole experience and the meticulous attention to details in each complex movements until you actually go through a session with all the coaches at Crossfit Box Hill.
I can only say so much in words. If you are reading this and finding yourself in a fervour vicarious anticipation, I earnestly ask you to come down and give it go. I am a regular 5:30am attendee. Nothing compares to starting your day with a ‘WOD’ and seeing the people who are doing it with you everyday!!
Allan has been very dedicated to his training since starting with us. Allan is very diligent when it comes to working on movement progressions, which makes it very easy and rewarding to coach him. We have seen him progress from strength to strength, and it is so pleasing to see someone who is just as motivated to learn technique and mechanics first, before dreaming of going heavy or dialing up the intensity to soon. Allan’s personality is infectious and certainly makes coaching the 5:30am sessions that much more easier !
