There is an assumption out there, that CrossFit training (or Functional Fitness programs) is reserved for the Elite Athlete or that you need to be ‘Fit’ to even start CrossFit. Less than 1% of the general population of CrossFitters compete at the ‘Elite’ level.

STEP ONE: FREE 60MIN INTRODUCTORY SESSION
This 60min Semi Private Class is a great way for you to find out more about CrossFit, our premium facilities, services and coaching methods and ultimately understand how we can safely and effectively help you achieve your health and fitness goals. This is a FREE no-obligation session.
These classes are limited to 3 participants only, and are often completed as a 1-on-1 to ensure we can spend quality time with you assessing your movement and determining your goals.
STEP TWO: ELEMENTS

This is by far the most common concern we hear from prospective clients and is why we operate our Elements Program the way we do:
30 Days to complete:
- 3 x 30min 1-on-1 Personal Training Sessions
- 2 x Group Classes ‘Buddied’ with a Coach
- Unlimited Classes in time remaining

CrossFit practices some highly complicated movements, and yes without the proper Coaching and guidance, you can injure yourself. At CrossFit Box Hill we conduct 3 x 30min 1-on-1 Personal Training sessions with every individual new to CrossFit, before they step foot in our group classes.
We do this to ensure the individual has a basic understanding of safe movement practices. Will you learn to Snatch 100kg or complete Muscle Ups & Handstand Push Ups in these sessions? NO.
You will be educated on how to move safely and consistently through a variety of common movement patterns – all of which we practice in our daily lives.
Upon completing these 3 x 30min 1-on-1 Sessions, you will then be invited to participate in any 2 of our Timetabled Group Classes. A Coach will be ‘buddied’ with you for these two classes to:
- Introduce you to other members & Coaches
- And act as your personal Guide throughout the class
Upon completing these 2 x Group Classes, you can then Unlimited Classes in the the remaining time of your 30-day Pass, before any Membership Sign Up is required.

Each Class is designed with the goal of the athlete in mind and has absolutely no ties to individual ability level. Whether you are a new CrossFitter, or going on your 10th year of CrossFit, it is your individual goals and current fitness levels that determine how we tailor the Class to you.
These subtle, yet important changes to each Class allow us to create the ideal training day for you, while keeping together what we know and love, our exciting group classes.
At CrossFit Box Hill, we encourage you to live your best life. One full of activity and happiness. Our program is designed to match our belief that as humans we should be completing 30min of heart-rate raising activity every day. This is why we only offer an ‘UNLIMITED’ Membership option and encourage all members to workout 5-6x per week.
Do you have Kids Classes/ Memberships?
All of our classes are OPEN age classes. This means your child (10yo+) can train in the same class as you. All of our Members, regardless of Age require the same amount of Coaching in class. We do not offer specific ‘Kids’ memberships but do offer a discounted membership option of $220 per month for children aged 10 – 16yo.
