CrossFit is suitable for any age and level of experience. Our emphasis is on functional training. This means we prepare you to meet the physical challenges of your daily life. A professional athlete will be looking for Functional Dominance, whilst a person with average fitness ability will be looking for Functional Competence.
CrossFit is constantly varied functional movement executed at high intensity. We will teach you how to improve your strength, stamina, flexibility, endurance, power, speed, balance, agility, co-ordination and accuracy – all scaled to suit your ability.
Over the past 3 years, we have developed a system that has evolved into a ‘primary’ and ‘secondary program. CrossFit Fitness is our ‘primary’ program which focuses on exactly that – improving your strength and fitness. CrossFit Performance continues on from the Fitness program at a higher intensity with more exposure to the Advanced Gymnastics movements with a focus on participants looking at competing in the Sport of Fitness.
Each of these styles of programs have different structures to their program – but with the same end goal in mind – improved fitness. All clients of CrossFit Box Hill are able to attend any of our CrossFit Fitness and CrossFit Performance Classes*
*excludes CrossFit Only/ 3-day Week Memberships/ 10-Session Pass holders and Drop-Ins = limited to CrossFit Fitness Classes Only.
